Printers encouraged to get their creative marketing hats on!

The UK Graphic Awards have announced a brand-new category for their awards celebration taking place this September.

The latest addition is a marketing-focused award which has been created in association with the event’s official marketing partner, B2B marketing specialist, Halston Marketing.

Whilst existing categories focus on commercial projects completed on behalf of clients, this new award will be looking for innovative marketing campaigns that have been produced by those operating in the wide-format print industry to promote their own business. They should be inspiring, conducted across multiple platforms and of course have had some amazing results! Due to their expertise in the field, Halston Marketing will be reviewing all entries and selecting the final winner in this category.

Georgia Halston, Director of Halston Marketing says: “We love the print sector and we know from working in the sector ourselves, that there have been some amazing campaigns in the past year. We wanted to get involved with the UK Graphic Awards to shine a light on the inspiring work that is currently being produced in the industry.”

Dan Tyler, Managing Director at Vism who are organising the awards alongside leading industry association FESPA UK, added: “It’s great to have a specialist from outside of the print industry getting involved with the event and helping raise the awareness of the innovation and inspiration coming from strong businesses that have been in the game for years”.

The inaugural UK Graphic Awards will take place on Tuesday 15th September at Oulton Hall, Leeds. Tickets are on sale now.
