Simon Nuvoletta talks about why HP are sponsoring Thrive in Print

HP were quick to act when they spotted an opportunity to get involved with the UK Graphic Awards‘ daytime conference, Thrive in Print. They were recently confirmed as one of our three main sponsors for the day. We asked Simon Nuvoletta, UK&I Marketing Manager for Large Format at HP why he saw it as such a a great opportunity, and why he thinks business leaders in the UK graphics industry should attend.

Why has HP decided to sponsor the Thrive in Print Conference?

HP is delighted to be a main sponsor of the inaugural Thrive in Print conference. It’s an excellent opportunity to support an event that is focused on celebrating the incredible achievements of the wide format graphics print industry. HP customers, and PSPs across the industry, continue to push the boundaries in what is achievable with printers, software and substrates to the extent that some are better considered artists than print providers. We think it’s important that they are recognised and commended for their creativity and innovation.

It’s also a privilege to assist in giving key stakeholders a platform to drive industry decisions that will further support the development and future of print and, of course, a great occasion to introduce HP’s growing product portfolio. We have developed our solutions not only to be the benchmark in quality and reliability but also to encourage PSPs to break into new markets with confidence and ease.

Why do you think the wide format graphics industry needs a conference like this?

The print industry is going through a number of significant changes. A conference like Thrive in Print is needed to help educate, support and strengthen PSPs to better manoeuvre their businesses through these times. The conference itself will also be a force for change: bringing together key players and champions in the market to share their incredible achievements and ideas, helping inspire all to drive the industry forward.

Why should people from the industry attend the conference?

Conversation and collaboration are key to the success of our industry. Thrive in Print is a chance to network with key manufacturers, suppliers and PSPs to discuss industry drivers and opportunities that will support all stakeholders – regardless of the business operations they specialise in. This new conference is also an exciting new opportunity to get all the latest information on industry trends and product developments, in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Thrive in Print conference takes place on Tuesday 15th September at Oulton Hall Leeds, ahead of the inaugural UK Graphic Awards gala dinner.
